If you want to come down and flip tires with the "old man"... do so at your own risk, I am not your mommies (even if I am prettier than some of them). If I tell you to scram--do so. We all help each other and WE ALL CLEAN UP. Bring water and an indomitable will. Check the blog 1 hour before you come down if there is foul weather or just in case--stuff happens. "Okay, Puska...Pick up Som'n HEAVY!" This is the Strongman Motto. This is what I had forgotten the past 5 months with all my stupid sicknesses and pant-seat-exploding diseases that have plagued us all this winter. Trying to be a good boy and take it slow so I don't hurt myself after time off...blah blah freakin blah... well that is all well and good. I've done a bit of bodybuilding/light work. But the bottom line is the only way to learn how to be Strong is to pick up heavy *&^%! Your central nervous system has to feel what it is like to be taxed so hard it wants to crap itself. You need to power clean 225 (which I did today) for reps. You need to deadlift 400 lbs. or whatever is heavy enough that you can only do 3 reps or less. If you do not you sure might LOOK strong but your explosiveness and Power will never be what it should be. You have to pick up heavy @#$%, Puska! Now I am not saying that after time off you should go straight back to your max effort first day back, etc. But don't get comfortable with "okay, that's good enough for today." Your supposed to be sore and feel like you got hit by a car! This only comes from lifting a lot of tonnage, girls. So again, if you have been doing, just enough to feel pretty... remember... we're not the Pink Pagoda Powder Puffs - we are the Black Knights STRONGMAN TEAM, B*TCHES!
