"Flowing with Punches"
by Shu-Shu 1576 A.D.
(Translated from the Japanese Text:
Buddha's Sister's Name was Cow)
Into the gray world of life should come a water-mind discipline of: "Flowing with the Punches--"
with love and any insanity life throws into our path.
But do not forget that waves also crash and make beautiful monuments of stone
and that frigid ice can make bridges to new lands.
Love! Run! See! Fly! Create!
Lift your voice and your spirit every day to anyone who will hear!
And to your self if no one else is around.
(There is always someone listening.)
Love it all, this life.
Stop and look at the sky for awe and wonder and guidance,
look to the mountains, the blue oceans,
the green seas, to the eyes of hawks and dogs and ravens too,
to the lion's tooth and the butterfly's wing. They are all mirrored places within--
Flowing.
And most of all, never loose the faith in whatever you kneel or bow to
even if it's only stubbornness.
After all, we are the breath of stars,
And the stars--a reflection mirrored in our eyes.
